This includes expenses for transportation, parking, gas, lodging, and miscellaneous dog expenses. Currently expenses average $30.00-$50.00 per dog for a weekend. Terms and Conditions: • Client agrees to pay all entry fees. • Handler will assume responsibility for making entries unless prior arrangements have been made for client to make entries. The handler reserves the right to enter shows that she feels will be most advantageous to each dog. • A dog will be shown in at least 5 shows before the handler determines if it will be successful in reaching the owner’s goals. The client may choose to have the handler stop showing the dog at any time. • In the event that the handler cannot show the dog, another competent handler of the handler’s choosing will replace the handler. • In the event the handler does not, for any reason, show the dog at which it is entered, a refund for the entry fee will be given to the client. Client will still be responsible for expenses for that dog at that show. • In the event the client cancels within 24 hours of the start of a show in which their dog is entered, the client will be responsible for one day’s handling fee. • The client shall be provided with prizes and ribbons their dog has won as soon as possible after each show. All cash awards shall go to the handler. • It is understood that the owner of the dog will assume all costs incurred by the handler for any medical treatment by a veterinarian required for the dog while under the supervision of the handler. It is further agreed that the handler shall determine the need for any veterinary care for the animal while under their supervision. Although every precaution will be taken to avoid any incident, the handler cannot be held responsible should any ill fortune befall your dog. • Handler will notify client if dog gets sick or injured for their input on the treatment of the dog if time is not a health factor. If client is unavailable for consultation, the client agrees to use the handler’s judgement in the treatment of the dog if a decision has to be made. • It is the client’s responsibility to advise the handler of any habits the dog may have that could possibly present a problem in giving safe and adequate care in the handler’s facility, in transit, or at the dog show. It is also the client’s responsibility to furnish instructions on administering any medication the dog may be taking. Clients are required to keep their dog’s vaccinations current per their vet’s recommendations. • Payment is due and payable upon receipt of each invoice. A 10% interest rate per month will be charged on invoices outstanding after 30 days. Any and all disputes regarding payment, which cannot be agreed upon satisfactorily between client and handler, will be settled in a court chosen by C. Ann Priddy. • New clients are required to leave a $200.00 deposit. All accounts must be paid in full before the dog is returned to the owner. A signed copy of this agreement form must accompany the deposit with new clients or with the dog on its arrival to the handler. ;'gtCare & Welfare • Dogs come in for a period of time, determined by agreement between handler & client, before their first show for bonding, training and conditioning (grooming when necessary. • All dogs allowed to come in for showing the day of the show must meet cleanliness and grooming requirements. • If dog is eating poorly, shows sign of stress, or exhibits unusual behavior, client will be consulted and a course of action will be mutually agreed upon.
